The golf region

Adamstal Golf Course is the romantic insider tip at the heart of Lower Austria. Planned by the 12-time national rally champion Franz Wittmann and designed by the Irish golf-course architect Jeff Howes, 28 fairways (19+9) are perfectly incorporated into the landscape.

The exclusive 18-hole course is situated in the castle park with wonderful old trees. The fairways framed by horse chestnut avenues and interspersed with watercourses and ponds are designed with great variety, and the whole course is beautifully level.

This magnificent golf course has been gently built into the natural landscape and will impress you with the fairways leading deep into the woods. The fairways are separated from each other by dense mixed woodland. Both pros and beginners are equally delighted with the course.

The demanding but fair 18-hole championship course with numerous bunkers and water obstacles was the venue for the European Tour from 2006 to 2009 and is currently a proud candidate for the 2022 Ryder Cup venue!
